Hudlice · STORY FROM THE ATLAS

The apparition of a golden duck

About a quarter of an hour's walk from the village, among the rocks by the Libotický stream, a spring lies at the edge of the forest. A golden duck appears on it on Good Friday. At that time the opposite hill, Církev, opens and an enormous shaggy dog comes out to guard the duck. When the Passion reading ends, a drawn-out howl sounds three times and everything disappears.
