The Romanesque-Gothic church of St Lawrence stands alone on Zdoun hill between Hrádek and Tedražice. Tradition holds that a treasure was once hidden here: twelve silver statues of the apostles and many silver coins. In the previous century extensive but fruitless searches were made. In 1820, on the lord's orders, the entire cemetery was dug up for this purpose. A local gravedigger named Lupíšek supposedly knew the treasure's whereabouts for certain, but during the Thirty Years' War he disappeared into the wider world without revealing its exact location.
