Frenštát Pod Radhoštěm · STORY FROM THE ATLAS

Treasures in the Beskids

According to legend, treasures are hidden in the surrounding mountains. Radhošť supposedly contains silver icicles. A treasure is also hidden at Čeladná. Only three firstborn sons of three sisters, acting together, can obtain it, and they must begin digging at midnight during the Passion days. A bandits’ treasure lies on Tanečnice, guarded by a large black dog that lets no one approach.
