The great treasure of Kryštof Želinský of Sebuzín, former vice-chancellor of the Kingdom of Bohemia under Emperor Rudolf II and owner of Dolní Břežany Château, lies nearby in a former pond at Hodkovice. Its owner hid it there after the Battle of White Mountain. The pond was later filled in, but St Anne’s Chapel still stands nearby. Tradition says the treasure is hidden a hundred steps north of it.
