The Headless Underground Army

According to local legend, knights were once slaughtered here. They rest in the earth, and a monument was erected above the massacre site. A version of the St Wenceslas army legend concerns this place: in the darkest hour, the headless knights will wake from their heavy sleep and ride towards Prague. There they will join Blaník’s army and liberate the country.
