Above Hradištko II, now part of Žiželice, lies Sokol Forest, where a nobleman's stronghold once stood. Its last inhabitants were two cruel, miserly sisters. After death their ghosts appeared every night in the U splávku meadow, a terrifying sight especially on dark nights. At midnight two white horses with long manes leapt from the Cidlina and pulled out a fiery carriage containing the wide-eyed sisters. The team drove around the meadow for an hour. At one o'clock the mysterious carriage vanished into the river again.
