A stronghold supposedly once stood in Malešov wood near Kokořov, home to a robber knight. He would give his daughter in marriage only to someone who completed three difficult tasks. The Devil fulfilled them and carried the maiden off to hell. She turned to stone from terror and grief, and the Devil dropped her above Osobovy, where she can still be seen.
