On a hill above the town lies the so-called Giant's Hillfort, an old Slavic settlement with ruins of the thirteenth-century Gothic Potenštejn Castle, surrounded by bizarre groups of enormous granite boulders. Many local legends of devil's stones and hidden treasures are associated with these places.
