Žeberk Castle fell victim to the religious wars of the fifteenth century. Only a section of wall with a small gate and its approaches survive. Its memory lives in dark legends of an enchanted, sunken château on a steep summit. A Black Lady in old-fashioned dress, with a veil and a bunch of keys, appears among the ruins of this highest castle in the Czech Krušné hory.
