Southeast of Zlonice, a Baroque sandstone statue of St Onuphrius, about two to three metres high, stands in a field. A secret passage supposedly leads from it to the Zlonice rectory. The statue is said to move by the width of a pinhead every year. When it reaches the church, the world will end, though the Zlonice–Roudnice railway now blocks its path. Legend says a rich merchant had it erected after the saint saved his life. In reality it once stood beside the church in Zlonice.
