North of the village, in the woods, stands the Barborka gamekeeper’s lodge. A castle of the same name once stood here, supposedly named after Barborka of Tučapy, the fiancée of the lord’s son. People say a ghostly fiery carriage driven by the knight Ctibor, lord of the castle, travels from the Barborka woods along the road towards Častrov. Above Louvar Pond, the ghosts of Ctibor and his son fight. With a fiery sword the son drives the carriage into the pond, where the whole phantom spectacle finally disappears.
