The Devil once came to the local mill to play cards. One day he became angry and promised to bury the mill in stones. He tore a great rock from Hradisko and rushed with it above the village. But a cock crowed and he had to drop it. A reddish gravel mound is the crumbled remnant of the Devil's Stone.
