Vodice- Zámek · STORY FROM THE ATLAS

A Cauldron of Turkish Ducats

A château with a chapel dedicated to St Lawrence was built here in 1636. In 1785, Countess Dejm had the chapel pulled down while searching for a treasure. An old legend says a cauldron of Turkish ducats is hidden there. Whoever finds it, however, must build a church of St Anthony on the site of the ordinary little chapel.
