Treasure in the Ruins

Above the Úpa valley near Havlovice lie the scant remains of a castle built of white sandstone. A great treasure is supposedly concealed in its deep cellars, still filled with rubble. A local woman found the cellars open at Easter, with treasure inside. She remained underground with her child for a whole year before she could emerge into daylight again and take some of the treasure with her.
