The skeleton of a walled-up woman was found in the castle. At night, Vikštejn's White Lady appears and guards treasures buried beneath the tower. Once, while Lord Vítek of Kravaře was absent, his old enemy Knight Tunkl supposedly stormed the castle. He dragged Vítek's wife onto the battlements, hacked her to pieces and threw her into the Moravice. Her ghost appears every year on the anniversary night in white clothing stained with blood.
