Northeast above the village stand the ruins of a Gothic-Renaissance castle, where a female ghost supposedly appears on moonlit nights. A former owner left two daughters, Katarína and Kristína. Both fell in love with Kelemen Dessefty, but he loved only Katarína. Kristína, wrapped in a sheet, stabbed him with a dagger and accused her sister of the murder. An ordeal by God's judgment proved, however, that Kristína was the murderess. Once exposed, she plunged the dagger into her own breast. Ever since, her desperately lamenting ghost has appeared on the castle walls.
