Several legends concern the Church of the Holy Trinity in Bzí, especially its construction. The inhabitants originally wanted to build it by the road to Alšovice, on the quarry site. When it was already finished, the bell vanished during the night. It was found some distance away, almost on the slope above the Jizera. This strange event supposedly happened three times, so they dismantled the church and rebuilt it at the place indicated by the bell. The church also has an eighteenth-century painting of the Black Madonna on the altar of the Virgin Mary.
