On a wall in the château garden is a picture of a rider with bristling hair, driving a spear into his horse as it gallops wildly. According to legend, this man had his wife unjustly walled up. Meanwhile she made him a shirt from her own hair. When he came to his senses and had her released from her cruel prison, she was already dead.
