The old château, rebuilt in the Baroque style, stands on the site of an earlier stronghold and Renaissance château. A White Lady appears inside. She is the ghost of the benevolent princess and former owner of the estate, Maria Theresa of Savoy, known locally as Cafojka. Several other legends about her are told in the area. Her spirit is also said to appear at the old Baroque coaching inn U lva in Úvaly.
