A menhir once stood here, within the Slaný–Velvary area where these stones are most densely concentrated in Czech territory. Together with the menhir at Chabry it defined a precise, though imaginary, solstitial alignment. In Dr Spůrek’s view, it is identical with the stone now built into the outside of the village cemetery’s southern wall. This is a two-metre-long sandstone stele bearing ancient carvings of the Sun and two crosses.
