The castle of a knight named Klapka once stood on a hill near Hrabenov above the River Morava. His subjects lived below it in a settlement called Klaprštat. A part of Ruda still bears that name. The extensive forest between the castle and Bohdíkov is called Klapuše. There, long ago, Knight Klapka shot his daughter’s lover just as the young man was about to meet her in secret. In his rage he then cursed his daughter into a tall local rock. Once a year, on the anniversary of the event, her ghost appears holding keys. Only someone unafraid to take the keys from the apparition can supposedly release her.
