This is the popular name of a menhir where several imaginary astronomical alignments intersect, formed by connecting stones that are often far apart. It stands beside the left-hand roadside ditch from Rakovník to Lišany, about two kilometres north of town. Legend says two girls, a Christian and a pagan, argued here over whose gods were true. The pagan bet that she could jump her horse over an old man approaching them. He cursed her, and she has stood here in stone ever since. In the early 1980s the menhir was removed. Only after the local press reported its disappearance was it secretly returned to its place.
