Kněhyně (1,257 m), the mountain adjoining Radhošť, is also called the Devil’s Mill. There are great boulders and a channel that looks carved into the rock. Legend says these are remains of the Devil’s wager that he could build a mill in one night. He lost and dropped a great rock, still bearing impressions of his back and the chains with which he had fastened it to himself.
