Volume one of the municipal chronicle of Lhota pod Radčem for 1881, page 77, states: “On 7 June of this year, pilgrims returning from Svatá Hora rested beside the road from Lhota to Sirá. Among them was a four-and-a-half-year-old boy named Josef Stieler from Chodová, in the Loket district of the Falknov administrative region. He had been blind in both eyes since the age of six weeks. While the pilgrims sat on the grass, the boy rose, walked a little way and began picking flowers. He returned and showed them to his mother, who, with the entire crowd of pilgrims, marvelled that a miracle had happened and the boy had regained his sight.” A small chapel was built here in 1899, initially maintained by believers from Lhota who organised pilgrimages to it.
