On the corner of Zelená Street still stands the house that gave the street its name; it has itself been called the Green House for several centuries. Documents from 1550 recall that it was painted with green images inside and out. Under King Ferdinand I, the town magistrates sat here, holding all important meetings and passing judgments. People say that later, after the house was rebuilt, the ghosts of the town judge in a black robe and the other magistrates appeared here at midnight.
