Pajštún Castle, also called Kvetov or Stupavský Kameň, has lain in ruins since Napoleon’s troops destroyed it in 1810. Every midnight an armoured knight’s ghost allegedly appears on a white horse, galloping around the ruins. He finally jumps onto the highest wall and vanishes into the abyss.
