Northeast of Lipiny, now part of Nečín, rises Zámecký vrch, once a Slavic hillfort. A golden calf allegedly once lived in this countryside. People hunted it, but it escaped into the hill still called Telecí, “Calf Hill”. In its place appeared a golden hen with golden chicks, which ran to the site of an old fortress and disappeared. This may be an old miners’ initiation legend. (See Hříměždice.)
