Křivý kopec rises above Moravský Beroun in the Nízký Jeseník hills. Local legend says a castle once stood here, though no trace remains. A former owner allegedly found treasure in the filled-in cellars, but had to carry it while sleepwalking to a neighbouring rock, where sprites took it from him. Only when a servant roused him from sleep did he wake and find a sack of gold coins still left.
