Lovčice · STORY FROM THE ATLAS

The Devil’s Furrow

A deep ditch runs around the village. It is said that the devil ploughed it as punishment after failing to outwit a clever farmer. Called the Devil’s Furrow, it runs from the village across the Prague road to the U tří šraňků gamekeeper’s lodge, and from there to Olešnice Pond.
