On Hostibejk hill above Lobeč near Kralupy once stood a tall upright stone said to be a pregnant woman petrified as punishment. Long ago an innkeeper's wife from Lobeček went to cut grass there, locking everything at home and taking the keys. When she failed to return and her husband could not enter, he cursed her and she turned to stone. Someone later knocked over the roadside figure, angering the locals who feared misfortune. Václav Krolmus reports in Památky archeologické that during road repairs in the previous century it was rolled downhill and broken into gravel.
