At a place called U kamene, about 100 metres from the Elbe's left bank and 600 metres west of Hradištko, stands one of the twenty-two Bohemian menhirs known when the source was written, probably Celtic remains. Although outside the Slaný–Velvary area of greatest concentration, it is aligned towards the solstice if joined by an imaginary line to the Celtic runic menhir excavated at the palaeoastronomical observatory near Libenice in the Kutná Hora region. Dr Špůrek recently located it through map research. Like many other Bohemian menhirs, it is said to have been removed once, but public pressure forced its return to the original site.
