Jevíčko was once surrounded by walls with four gates. One was Chornice Gate. Precisely at noon a little boy's ghost appeared here wearing a small hat and carrying a jug. He walked to Žlibek, filled it with water and returned to the gate, where he always vanished. The guardhouse outside the walls, on the site of today's house No.13, was also haunted at night. Unexplained booming footsteps could be heard and doors opened by themselves.
