Above the railway beyond Lutotín, protected by a bend of the Romže River, a strong castle is said once to have stood. The place is still called Na hradě, “At the Castle”. It sank into the ground because of its owner’s debauchery. A White Lady appears here, the ghost of the lord’s daughter. Dressed entirely in white, she walks here at noon, whip in hand, keeping watch so that none of the sunken spirits can emerge. On Good Friday the hill opens. A version of the legend tells of two boys whom the White Lady led inside the hill, where they were forced to remain for an entire year.
