Until recently a menhir stood on a raised spot in a field within the municipality. About thirty years before the source was written, it was removed from its original site and now lies buried beneath a small rubbish dump in an old exposure nearby. A version of a tale widespread throughout Bohemia is associated with it. The ghost of a farmer who moved the stone, understood as a boundary marker, into his neighbour's field haunted the place. One night he met a drunk and asked, ‘Where shall I put it?’ The man told him to return it to where he had taken it. The ghost thanked him and vanished. It supposedly has not haunted the place since.
