Beside the road from Peruc to Vrbno, in the centre of Hřivčice, stands a slender sandstone pillar with a weathered surface. It was once broken, and its repair with cement mortar is visible. Facing the road is an old metal plaque with a handwritten inscription: ‘Old direction marker dating from 1680. Heritage Office in Prague.’ The enthusiastic Czech researcher Dr Špůrek believes it to be a menhir and aligns its position with the menhirs at Kamenný Most and Chabry.
