Extensive secret vaulted passages are said to run beneath the town, one reaching as far as Opatovice monastery. In troubled times the townspeople concealed their treasures there. Many remained, and it is said that anyone who sees them must die. They are supposedly protected by powerful streams of sparks and fire.
