A version of a legend known from many places in Bohemia is associated with this spot. Two young ladies from the château once had shoes made of dough. A beggar met them and asked for alms, but they rudely dismissed him. The poor man cursed them, and both sisters immediately sank into the earth. (See Staňkov and Kravaře.)
