Dwarfs once lived here and buried a great treasure inside the mountain. A rock spirit guards it: an old, solitary dwarf with a long grey beard. Once every hundred years, on Palm Sunday, he comes out to survey the countryside. Only an innocent person could supposedly obtain the treasure during the mighty guardian’s brief absence. A little blue flame is said to mark its hiding place.
