A Trace of the Templars

Some literary works mention Budyně nad Ohří as a place where the Knights Templar were active, supposedly maintaining a monastery. The book Chronik von Böhmen, from the early part of the previous century, reproduces an engraving of a column at Budyně, allegedly Templar, bearing a date and a coat of arms.
