Rohozná · STORY FROM THE ATLAS

The Swedish Army’s War Chest

Between Rohozná and Nový Rychnov lies Kuš Forest. The settlement of Šance was built on former Thirty Years’ War trenches, where Swedish and imperial troops once fought. The Swedish army’s war chest is supposedly buried beside a nearby spring. At night, military music and the pounding of horses are heard in the area, and ghosts of the soldiers appear.
