The owner Půta Švihovský of Rýzmberk supposedly once had three nurses walled up alive because they harmed him and turned his wife against his brothers. The Devil came for him and carried him through a hole in the ceiling. Ghostly devils later appeared at the castle riding black goats, pigs and roosters.
