J. V. Grohmann reports that many witnesses formerly saw a White Lady at Záběhlice Château. One clear moonlit night, the steward was walking around the château when he saw a pale figure in the chapel windows. His dog did not bark but merely wagged its tail. The apparition vanished and the sound of breaking glass followed. The ghost also supposedly often knocked on the window. People said that the White Lady had been seen frequently until bells began to be rung at the château.
