The Headless Rider of Úvoz

Every Friday from midnight until one, the ghost of a headless man in white appears in Úvoz, the upper continuation of Nerudova Street. He rides on horseback, carrying his head in his hands. He is said to be the ghost of a priest who refused to take the last rites to a dying man because of festivities at Strahov Monastery. When he finally arrived, it was too late. His horse then bolted and threw him, and the priest lost his head. Lesser Town.
