At the southern end of Podolí village lies Veselská Meadow with a small spring. On the night before St John the Baptist’s Day, witches from the whole Bouzov area always gathered here. Mysterious lights also appeared. A tale tells of a local cottager who came to dump ashes and, because of the apparitions, was forced to spend the whole night under a wooden washing trough. The witches supposedly also met in Podolí itself, behind the chimney in the house called U Blechtů.
