An old cross stood on the road from Podmokly to Chmelná, in the so-called Šlechta Field. Years ago, bones, horseshoes and remnants of horse harness were found here. The place is said to be haunted. After midnight a fiery horse appears, fire shooting from its nostrils. Each time it runs around part of the field, where a battle may once have been fought, then sinks into the earth.
