A treasure lies hidden in the House of the Golden Ship (no. 206), also on the western side of the square. It is said to be in a filled-in well. It will reveal itself to the person destined to obtain it through a strange sign: where it lies, the walls will “sweat gold.” In one of the large rooms, a female figure used to appear in an old-fashioned white robe, with a black veil covering her entire head.
