He Promised His Daughter’s Soul to the Devil

After midnight, the ghost of a long-bearded man in a black gown wandered through the old house at 249 Sedláčkova Street. In life he had supposedly been an astronomer and had also sought the Philosopher’s Stone. He had once pledged his daughter’s soul to the Devil in exchange for the evil spirit’s promise to help him in his work. In the end he hanged himself and found no peace in his grave.
