Ghosts at St Anne’s Chapel

Beyond town towards Chodová Planá, St Anne’s pilgrimage chapel stands on a low hill. Many local legends concern it, including a little fiery man appearing at night. A White Lady also allegedly haunts the lime avenue leading there. Some say she is St Anne herself, others a former estate owner buried in the chapel but unable to rest. Years ago lightning struck and damaged the tower. Two White Ladies supposedly then appeared on the road from the chapel into town, vanishing only in the square.
