Kynšperk Nad Ohří · STORY FROM THE ATLAS

The Herald of Fire

On the western edge of town, on Zámecký vrch, lie the grounds of a former royal castle, whose moat is still visible. The castle fell into ruin during the 17th century. A ghost in the form of a small, dark-clad man once lived among the ruins and foretold misfortune. Before a fire he could be seen walking through the town’s streets, wailing.
