An evil steward once lived at the Robousy estate. He liked riding around on a white horse. Cruel to the serfs, he tormented them at work and beat them with a whip. After his death people said his ghost appeared here on the white horse. To drive him away they planted a pear tree. When it grew, lightning split its crown. They planted an apple tree next, but it withered. They then planted another wild pear tree, which still stands. The spot lies about halfway from the Robousy estate to Moravice and is called U hruštičky, At the Little Pear Tree.
